It should now be common knowledge that the Greater London Authority has published damning report, branding TfL’s management of Taxis and Private Hire as “Woefully inadequate”.
Therefore, Sir Peter Hendy has been called to appear before the transport committee, on February 25th at 10 am, to answer questions about the report.
This is to be a public meeting and in support of the GLA, a united trade request has been made for drivers to attend (on foot) and fill the public gallery. We would also hope that there will be enough support outside to show the media, we are not impressed with Sir Peter or his directorate.
Drivers will be allowed to submit questions which Assembly members will ask on your behalf.
