Hendy Says, He’s Been Accused Of Being Fraudulent And Taking Bribes

Val Shawcross tells Sir Peter Hendy “Don’t Say that, don’t get involved Peter”, as the TfL transport commissioner questioned the attitude of his audience. He said “their are many, many good Taxi drivers, but there are some who aren’t”.
London Assembly Member Val Shawcross said of Taxi drivers attending the GLA session;
“We’ve had very good behaviour from Taxi drivers today and we’ve had a good discussion, so can we leave it there”.
Obviously Hendy felt he couldn’t leave it there and went on to say as a public official he’s been abused and accused of being fraudulent and taking bribes and that unacceptable.

WITH THE WORSE LICENSING AUTHORITY
It’s obvious Hendy was seething over the GLA session. By the weekend Taxis were being given the heavy handed treatment all over the capital.

Police turned up and issued summonses at Paddington to Taxis over ranking.
While at night in Mayfair and Soho, touts, unlicensed minicabs and sexual predators are given a free hand illegally ply for hire and do whatever they like, as the nonexistent Cab Enforcement and “Old Bill” turn a blind eye.
